Do I need to commit myself to a large number of lessons?
No. As our courses are totally flexible and customer orientated, it is you who decides
on the length of your course. Obviously we are happy to provide you with tips on
how long it would take to achieve certain learning outcomes.

You can book from an one-off trial lesson to different blocks of lessons starting with 4 hours+.
Naturally should you have taken out a block booking of any kind, and decide during your course
not to continue, any applicable refund will be returned to you by direct bank transfer.

How long is each lesson?
Again this is very flexible. The minimum length is 1 hour per session.
For the more serious learner, also for corporate clients we suggest at least 1.5 hours.
Small group tuition is more effective when the lessons are slightly longer, too.

Where will I be taught?
This again depends on what you prefer.
You can either be taught in the convenience of your own home or at the tutor's home.
For corporate clients: tuition will take place in the convenience of your company's premises.

What about online tutoring?
Indeed this is the new way and we do offer it as well.

Online tutoring having the great benefit of both clients and tutors staying at their own homes
during lesson times, hence with no travel/distance having to be considered, saving immensely on cost and time. Tuition would be held 'at the computer', i.e. by using a software (free to download & often already on many computers.), a headset (or a microphone & speakers) and preferably also a webcam, so students can see the tutor as well as the tutor seeing the student during lessons.

Hence lessons are absolutely interactive and they don't differ much from a lesson
with both student & tutor being in the same room. Thus online tuition with us poves to be a rather convenient way, saving you on cost and time.

What are your fees?
We offer you a personal service, by which the training is very much focused on the learner, being very flexible. Therefore none of our courses are ever the same. Please contact us directly by using the

What about payment?

Lessons are payable in advance and you need to purchase blocks of hours for your tuition.
With this you have the option to choose to
pay for initially a first trial lesson only and then purchase blocks of hours
or
straigt away pay for a block of for example 4, 6, 8, 16, 32 hrs.

Invoices need to be paid within 7 days of receiving it.
Even though we actually could provide clients with a rather quick start with their tuition,
regrettable due to the time involved for receiving the needed administration & payment,
the initial lesson can only take place once the needed e-paperwork has been received
and the funds have been cleared onto the account.

Payment can be made directly into a bank account or if preferred paid by cheque straight into the bank account, however the latter will take longer before we can confirm clearance of the funds.
For a quicker start of your tuition, payment can also be made via the online processor PayPal (for every card holder) or depending on the amount due Nochex (for UK card holders only)
using a switch or credit card.
Should you choose this payment option, a payment request will be emailed to you with your invoice.
Once the payment has been received, the lesson can get confirmed.

Dealing with payment matters in this way means that no money needs to be exchanged
between you and the teacher. Letting you concentrate on studying the language during your lesson,
rather than sorting out or focusing on payment with the tutor.

What are my booking options?
Booking option 1:
*paying in advance for a one-off trial lesson (plus possible travel charges):
should you wish to continue with tuition after that lesson, you need to purchase a block of
block of 4, 6, 8, 16**, 32** hrs, payable in advance.

What is the booking procedure?
-you send us your enquiry via our enquiry form
-a personalized quote for a tailor made course will be send out to you,
together with our terms and conditions to take out tuition or arrange a translation.
-you decide whether you would like tuition through timefortalking.com
-if so, tutors' availability is checked for you, for possible days/times for lesson/s.
- you decide that you like to go ahead with the tuition
-payment is made for either a one-off trial lesson or for a block of 4,6, 8, 16. 20 + hours,
(plus possible travel charges):
for which an invoice will be send to you together with tuition details and our terms once again.
The latter we ask you to accept by email, for this we'll email you a convenient email acceptance slip
which you only need to fill in and return to us.
-after the acceptance of our terms and the advance payment is received
(i.e. funds having arrived on the bank account or cheques having been cleared),
the actual first lesson time and date is agreed and confirmed
-you start your language course.

Dependent on how quickly you like to begin with your tuition,
we usually can get you started soon after your enquiry, depending on receiving the appropriate e-paperwork and cleared funds accordingly.

Yes, we do offer specific tuition for exam preparation.
Arrange tuition already now and not only shortly before the exam.
Planned, longterm exam-tuition can minimize stress for your child and show better exam results.
Also currently we are in the process of preparing an exam revision guide, which will be offered on this web site shortly. So watch this space.

I spend alot of time in the car, bus and on the train. I might not find enough time to specially sit down and study - can you help me with this?
Yes, we offer all our clients the option to purchase unique language tapes/CDs tailored to their language course and needs. These are 30 minutes tape/CDs. We use them as a listening exercise in the studied language. As they are uniquely tailored to the individual learning process, clients find them rather helpful. Also as they provide exercises within a listening context, they can be used conveniently in the car, bus or on the train; fitting in perfectly with all of our busy lifestyles.

For Spanish we also offer a great interactive Spanish CD-ROM.

We always try to locate the nearest tutor for you. In the UK we mainly operate in the City, Greater London area, Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire and most major cities.Though we offer tuition nationwide. Furthermore we also offer tuition in Australia & Germany for example. For individual area requests please get in touch for further details via our enquiry form.

As we also offer online tutoring for more and more languages
